Kaiser South Bay ICT Team Creates Fun Wellness Challenge

The Kaiser Intensive Community Treatment (ICT) South Bay team has launched a creative approach to promoting staff wellness through their new 鈥淚CT Wellness Bingo鈥 initiative. This engaging activity encourages team members to incorporate various self-care practices into daily routines.

The thoughtfully designed bingo card features diverse wellness activities, from meditation and mindfulness exercises to environmental improvements like decluttering spaces. As staff complete different wellness activities, they can work toward prizes while sharing their successes with coworkers, creating a supportive community atmosphere around well-being.

This idea emerged directly from the program鈥檚 Employee Engagement Action Committee, demonstrating a commitment to promoting workplace wellness. Under the leadership of program administrator Claire Templeton, LCSW, the team has created a simple yet effective way to prioritize health practices while building team connections.

The Kaiser ICT program provides specialty mental health care services through a diverse team of clinicians, substance use specialists, and peer staff who work collaboratively with clients and their Kaiser Permanente wellness teams. Their recovery-centered approach focuses on helping individuals resolve crises while supporting meaningful wellness and quality of life goals.
